Hi Pat,
I like the idea of the wounded in the wound, the proportions, colors and composition are good imo.

the only thing i would do is to enlarge the outlines, like double their width.
It would feel more traditionnal imo.

Oh, and there are 3 shadows missing: over the arm where it comes out of the wound, over the little finger, and over the axe where lays the little finger.

And the grey drop? I like that they are not bloody red.

I see what you're saying. This was the last thing I did before passing out last night. I'll have to try and see just how to make the lines thicker in procreate without having to trace the whole stinking thing again. The shadows should be easy enough to throw in. Thanks for the crit.
