As DKJ said, it is a horse iron. The unlucky sign and the horse shoe have a shared meaning, if u know what i mean by that.

Maybe it's different in the Czech Republic, but horse shoes are associated with good luck in the states.

In Sweden too. Important though which position it has. Upwards=luck. Downwards=luck is pouring out=bad

Depends on what you wanted Yours is pointing upwards as far as I can see=good luck. If bad luck was what you wanted it to show (according to what I'm grown up with), well then you got it wrong ? But maybe it's different in Czech tradition!

In France, from what i know locally, horse iron is a sign of good luck.
Maybe the reversed iron could be associated to bad luck, but it's tue black cat which is king of bad luck, here.
