I like it...cool design and layout. Sharpen those edges though (if you wanted any critique) The waves are very precise and the sky has very rough edges in the cloud circles (is that what they are called?)

I tried it this way but I usually do more shades in the background and in the waves.
I just wanted to try something else.

It’s up to you but I would try to draw from traditional tattoo references. For Japanese tattoos that means drawing from Japanese wood block prints and the like. Japanese traditional has so many inherent “rules” it’s always good to study the old stuff. I personal study American traditional flash heavily.

If that’s not what you’re going for, disregard my comments though. Since it’s art, do what you like a make your own path.

Thank you for advice.
I look at traditional tattooing a lot but I don’t use it as Reference. I am always afraid to copy.
I will try to for next drawings.

If you are just using it for practice, it isn't copying. Also, when it come to japanese and american traditional most designs are just copies and reworks for originals. Hell, half of Sailor Jerry's designs are copies of his friend Pinky's flash.
