Old school flower in illustrator

Testing drawing designs in illustrator and made this to put on my wife (when I can make clean lines )

Any feedback is greatly appreciated

looks good but im unsure what to think about this dot shading covering the surrounding leafs, for me it will look better if they wont be covered but that just my opinion, i love the simple traditional flovers

Thanks You're right, the dotted shading is mostly for effect, and on skin I would probably use standard shading

i mean would look better for me if dot shading will be around whole design i mean like under not strictly around u get me ? i huge fan of dot shading mate
