I came to acquire a machine, but am having a difficult time determining the fault in the system.

Upon setting everything up and running the machine, it acts as though there is a failure in the delivery of EC.

In my experimenting, it was determinable that simply starting the machine with the red clip cord cable (positive) touching the connection point in a very specific way, and just barely, allowed the current to flow, and continue flowing once the little arm of the cord was allowed to fully enter the hole.

I am having trouble communicating with the designer due to a language barrier. Does anyone have a thought on this machine issue?

We would need to see the machine before we could give any solid clues.

It sounds to me just like maybe it’s a problem with the connection point does it do it with all clip cords but yeah a picture would help

So to make the machine run at normal functionality as in the video, I start by adjusting the positive clip so that it is just barely touching the terminal. When the power begins consistently flowing I allow the connecting piece to fully insert, which maintains functionality until power is cut. Strange phenomena, and I don't have my other machine anymore to test with. I have tried switching clip cords and it produces the same sequence.

Please let me know if the link is working, imgur was giving me problems.

usually bottom is positive.
it sounds like maybe there's something inside the hole on the metal. it needs to be bare metal in order to make proper contact. Grab a needle bar with the needles melted off and stick it in there polishing around the sides of the hole. They probably drilled the hole before powder coating it or got some other contaminate in there.

The only feedback I was given by the engineer was that the positive goes on top, which at least aligns with the images on their show-page. I will try to get the contacts clear inside. Thanks for the suggestion! I will report back.
