Hey everyone, my name is Christopher most call me CJ your choice I don't mind either way. A little bit about myself I always loved to draw and was very into graffiti when I was young. When I graduated HS I decided to go to Art school and I loved it but, at the time a financial situations caused me to leave. I have built a career in the Automotive 12 volt industry, but the time came for me to pursue my passion for art.
Through the years I have dabbled with art here and there but I always allowed work to push it to the back burner. I have a rather big surgery coming up and it will have me on a 4-6 week recovery at home so I had decided to put my focus back on getting in touch with my artistic passions. While I was deciding if I wanted to paint or pickup an airbrush again it hit me.
I have been working on my own tattoo collection since I was 17 and every time I get tattooed it is a spiritual journey for me (I am sure many feel the same). So I decided to learn how to tattoo. Why not take two things that bring me satisfaction and happiness and turn that into a new career. I started my research and found Tattooing 101, I signed up for the Artist Accelerator program and it has been awesome! I now put aside 1-2 hours each evening during the week to work on it and 4-8 hours over the weekends. It is time for me with no distractions and I had lost that for many years. My son told me the other night as I was opening art supplies and he said, "Dad I have seen you are happier since you started working on art and learning to Tattoo". I am super stoked to be enrolled in the 10 day seminar, I have watched the first Rose tattoo video with Brandon, I am waiting on some supplies to arrive so I can tattoo along with the video.
SORRY SUCH A LONG POST LOL
