I think they look pretty awesome. They definitely have that traditional old school feel about them. Which I personally love
Noticed you're using Waverly red and it looks pretty saturate... do you also have the red (or crimson) from FW's? If so, how do you think they compare? I have the FW's and it feels really thin and watery...
Waverly is heavily pigmented but is still pretty transparent which I like. The only negative with Waverly's red is that it isn't as water proof as FW's red. I have mixed feelings on most reds from FW and Amsterdam. I like that they are water proof but I just haven't found the right red from them. The reason I like water proof is that I like to stain the paper after I paint. I could do it before the I paint or after I line but I just like doing it at the end.
I love the color of Waverly's red and it matches exactly the red from their ink which I love.
Also, I've been trying to include all the paints I use in the pics so people can get a feel of different product's results. I figured it would be helpful to see.
